Welcome back to campus! I hope you are all as excited for the second semester as am I.
For those of us who weren’t so lucky with pre-registration last semester, or who aren’t quite ready to commit to their current class rosters, here is an article, published in an Argus from last year, with tips on how to best manage the Drop/Add period.
We Peer Advisors realize that Drop/Add can be a stressful time for many. My frosh spring year was particularly bad for me: I ended up with only two courses during pre-registration, meaning I was doing a lot of class-hopping for my first week on campus. Luckily, everything settled into place—although I didn’t get all of my top choices, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the classes that I did end up taking. Just remember, there’s no one “right” class for anybody!
